If you were thinking that the Tea Party would be automatically supporting Sen. John McCain for re-election in Arizona, there may be a surprise in store. Actually there may be a split among the conservative party members as to who they will endorse. The coming primary may show the divisions among the conservative grassroots group.

The know-nothing wing of the GOP is gaining strength every day. If Palin makes a run for the presidency we can expect the Smilin' Messiah to make mincemeat of her. She may in fact act as a splitting force, causing the GOP to fracture in two. Many of the intelligent people among the GOP have been horrified by Palin since she first appeared on the stage.
Obama probably isn't surprised anymore when angry protestors flock wherever he travels, but it's rather strange that San Francisco, traditionally a bastion of arch liberals, would be able to mobilize such an outpouring of conservative anger. If I were in the government, I would take notice of these developments. People in the United States are increasingly angry and the trend seems to be increasing.
Across the nation, spontaneous protests have been occurring to draw media attention to the problems with Obama's socialist policies and government. The mainstream media has put a near-complete block on American discontent; more evidence than ever that the networks and newspapers are bought and paid for by a tiny number of corporations-- 5 corporations own 95% of US media outlets.

You are the majority party. You control Congress, the Presidency and the Media. However, you cannot control the fact that people don't think your healthcare plan is a very good idea. The solution to your problem (aside from creating a better plan): namecalling.
